I know that I haven't posted much since I subscribed.
But, before deciding wheter to fork or not, who is going to
be the boss, the one who makes order from chaos?
As far as I understand, nobody, applied, right?

No way!, I want not-ion to be a sucess!Evenmore, my skills in Lua are none and I'm far away from what a leader should be.Still, I have seen the things to change, do you thing that it is a good idea to fork?I don't see the need. There is nobody who is a dictatorinside this project.couldn't we update the source of Ion and keep Tuomo work? because it's rock solid...

absolutely, I don't think we have a choice, it's either that or ion is
dead forever.

Tuomo's work will remain the base of any future development
(at least for the foreseeable future), a fork doesn't mean a complete
rewrite!
